Our mission, started in 2003, works collaboratively with our co-parishioners in San Pedro Chenalho and San Pablo Chalchihuitan on issues and projects that strengthen our lives as Catholics. We provide financial support to the priests and continuing education programs for young people who were not able to finish school. San Pedro and San Pablo villages are scattered across an impoverished mountainous area in the remote areas of the southern Mexican state of Chiapas. A mission team travels to Chiapas once a year. The Chiapas team cooks and sells tamales in November to raise funds and needs help cooking, as well as help with fundraising.
We meet the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM Room 10 downstairs in the Saint Joseph Center.
